Reading and writing can have a healing effect whether we do both or stick to either reading or writing. When we understand others we become better at understanding ourselves.

In the self-appreciation it is possible to come together.

When writing Finn’s corner I was pushed forward in my writing process by “come togetherness” as a specific topic. Consequently, describing another person’s life; aspects of his everyday life, his interests, sorrows and love became the major purpose of my novel.  The story about Finn and my writing process was inspired and influenced by this purpose in combination with the fact that many things in life happen by chance.

I’m born in Copenhagen in 1958 where I completed a math/science High School degree. After that I studied math and computer science for some years at H. C. Ørsted Institute  (University of Copenhagen). Afterwards I studied at Copenhagen Business School and completed my training as a Bachelor of Commerce. I worked for some years as a systems consultant in an IT company and during those year I founded my family.

During the 1990’s I started studying at the Faculty of Human Science (Copenhagen University) and in 1999 I completed a Bachelor of Pedagogy at the Institute of Philosophy, Rhetoric and Pedagogy. The following years I organized and participated in a number of workshops focusing on studies about the brain, awareness, consciousness, mental health, personal integrity and philosophy.

For many years I wrote privately about these topics due to pure personal interest in these matters. I was more deeply inspired after attending The Science of Consciousness conference (TSC) in Copenhagen, where I connected with authors who focused on these topics. Around 2004 I set out to work with fiction and gradually I became more and more attached to this literary genre. My writing and all the stories I felt an urge to share were founded in all these topics of interest and they became the foundation of my fiction.

In 2015 I launched my first self-published auto fictive novel Om muligt (“If Possible”).
